SOLIDARITY PROJECT FOR BEIRUT

On August 4th 2020, the third biggest explosion in history went off in Beirut causing devastation and leaving more than 300,000 people homeless with a large number of people injured and dead. To express their support, Marcelo Cura, Mawe and mastering engineer Michel Avannier decided to collaborate and create their electronic rendition edit of a classic track by artist Fairuz who herself hails from Beirut.
The original lyrics really touch base with the emotions felt and can be found below.

The Edit by Marcelo Cura And Mawe uses the raw and sentimental elements form the original while adding a moving, driving and hypnotic groove, having the listener feel the emotional, stimulating and captivating result of the collaboration.

All proceeds from the track go to Beit El Baraka (House Of Blessing) , an NGO Who’s mission is to ensure that all Lebanese families who lost their homes are able to find the necessary support required for them to survive and rebuild.
